There are some conditions that are not considered to be Pre-Existing Medical Conditions for travellers under 70 years of age, please read below.
Pre Existing Medical Conditions for anyone under 70 years of age

If your answer is "Yes" to any of the above questions, you may have a Pre-Existing Medical Condition.
Note to all Travellers:
The following conditions are not considered to be Pre-Existing Medical Conditions:
- Asthma - providing that you are less than 60 years of age, have no other lung disease, and there has been no exacerbation requiring treatment by a medical practitioner in the last 12 months.
- High Blood Pressure/Hypertension - provided you do not also suffer from a known Cardiovascular disease and / or diabetes.
- HRT/Menopause Syndrome - for menopausal symptoms only [Note: Osteoporosis is deemed to be a Pre-Existing Medical Condition]
- Ear Grommets - provided these have not been inserted and have not required antibiotics within the last 2 months
- Cataracts - provided you have not required surgery within the last 2months and are not on a medical waiting list
- Hay Fever - provided you have not required antibiotics or seen a doctor for hay fever within the last 3 months
- Hypercholesterolemia (high cholesterol) - provided you do not also suffer from a known Cardiovascular disease and / or diabetes.
- GORD/Gastric Oesophageal Reflux Disease (Indigestion) provided this is controlled with regular medication
- Hypothyroidism, Goitre, Hashimoto's Disease, Thyroid deficiency - provided this is controlled with medication.
