Domestic Cancellation Travel Insurance

If your journey is necessarily interrupted or if you have to cancel/curtail your New Zealand domestic travel arrangements because of an unforeseen event beyond your control, we will cover you for loss of deposits.  Additionally, if your journey has already commenced and reasonable additional travel costs are required, we will cover these also.

A minimum premium of $10 applies per person and covers costs up to $300. Premium will vary according to the level of cover purchased, for example:

$10 premium = $300 cover
$15 premium = $450 cover
$20 premium = $600 cover

Further cover  levels available with $5 premium increments. An excess of $20 applies per person per claim.

Some policy exclusions do apply. For example, you are not covered for any pre-existing medical condition, and you are not covered if your financial circumstances change, or you change your mind and no longer wish to travel.
